Join Our Prestigious Ballet Academy: Upcoming Auditions
We are delighted to announce our upcoming auditions.
These auditions provide aspiring dancers with the opportunity to train under our esteemed faculty and join a community dedicated to excellence in ballet.
Audition Schedule
General auditions are open to dancers aged 10 and above, including those interested in our Post-Graduate Program (PPP) for students aged 18 and over.

Selected students will be invited to join our Professional Program for the 2026–2027 season, which offers:
• Comprehensive daily training in ballet, contemporary, and character dance
• Personalised coaching and mentorship
• Performance opportunities
To secure your audition spot in any external audition, please register through the official host of the audition. Early registration is recommended due to limited availability.

AUDITION PROCESS
At the Alen Bottaini Ballet Academy, we welcome aspiring dancers to audition for :
full-time Professional Training Program
post-graduate Pre-Professional Program (PPP)
Students may choose from the following audition options:
1. OPEN AUDITION
- Apply and secure acceptance to join an open audition.
- Dates, times, and locations are advertised on our social media channels, or request directly information via email.
2. PRIVATE AUDITION
- Apply for a private audition, and propose suitable dates for consideration.
3. VIDEO AUDITION
If you cannot attend an audition in person, we welcome video submissions. The video should include:
- Barre Work: (one side only, max. 5m): plié, tendu, adagio and grand battement.
- Center Practice: adagio, pirouettes en dehors and en dedans, small and grand allegro.
- Girls: Include pointe work (short combinations such as èchappès, sissonne simple, relevè en grand pose, pirouettes, and relevè/piquè arabesque).
- Repertoire: classical variation if one is prepared
- Contemporary: add short contemporary solo/improvisation
4. INTENSIVE WORKSHOP AUDITION
- Attend our Short Intensives or our yearly Summer Intensive Course for possibility of audition.
- Students may be invited to join the full-time training program based on ability and available spots.
REGISTRATION
To apply, complete the Audition Application Form and send it to audition@alenbottainiacademy.com. Be sure to include:
• A portrait photo.
• Ballet photos (including an arabesque).
Note: In-person auditions are preferred.
AUDITION FEE
An audition fee of € 70 is required for all applicants, including registration and mandatory insurance. Applications will only be considered once the fee is paid.

Participants attending auditions organized outside of ABA are exempt from paying this fee.
NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
You will receive an email notification within three weeks of your application being reviewed.
Depending on the audition results, students may:
1. Receive direct admission to the program.
2. Be invited to attend a final audition, held at the ABA studios in Chieri-Torino during the Spring.
