Alessandra Mazzetti

Began her classical dance studies in Asti where she graduated Advanced RAD. She studied in Italy and abroad with internationally renowned teachers such as: Marika Besobrasova, Rosella Hightower, Jorge Lanner, Susanne Ossova, Peter Goss.

She continued by graduating from the Regional Dance Academy of the Teatro Nuovo in Turin (directed by Marika Besobrasova), studying with Cuban teachers of the Ballet National of Cuba such as: Ramona De Saa, Mirtha Ermida, Mirtha Pla, M. Eugenia Reyes, M. Elena Fernandez.

She works at the Donizzetti in Bergamo with Richard Caceres of the NYC Ballet and since 1985 in the Compagnia del Teatro Nuovo in Turin, covering solo roles in classical and contemporary productions, with étoiles such as: L. Savignano, M. Pierin, G. Cohen, R. Paganini, G. Iancu, F. Olivieri, L. Kemp, with tours in Italy and around the world in prestigious international theaters and festivals.

She dances in the Classical Repertory Ballets that alternate with those of choreographers such as: Robert North, M. Berriel, M. Morricone, A. Della Monica, I. Manzoni, some productions for "Scena Mobile" by Joseph Fontano, Nacho Duato, Lindsay Kemp, J. Kilian and others.

Since 1998 she has danced in productions of the Compagnia di Torino by G. M. Venditelli and H. Cerutti.

Alongside her profession as a dancer, she also works as a teacher, obtaining in 2000 the diploma of specialization for teachers of Academic Classical Dance from the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

She follows with Niurka De Saa, Maetre de Ballet of Cuba, the courses for teaching Cuban methodology.

She dances at the Teatro Regio in Turin in ballets within the Operas such as: Lucrezia Borgia (directed by F. Bellotto, choreographed by T. Tosco), Rigoletto (directed by F. Banfo, choreographed by A. M. Bruzzese) Don Carlo (directed by H. De Ana, choreographed by L. Lojodice).

Since 2008, she has danced for five years in London and on tour in England and Scotland, in the 2-act ballet "The Snowman" with choreography by Robert North, a production of the Birmingham Repertory Theatre for the West End of London (Sadler's Wells and Peacock Theatre).

In 2015 she danced in the production “Lunar” of the Company “The very secret dance society” by Raffaele Irace.

She teaches Classical Academic Dance for dance schools, professional courses, internships, lessons for professionals and at Companies.
